"To establish, maintain and conduct a trampoline club and to promote among members of the corporation and others an interest in the sport of trampoline."
The Kingston Aeros Trampoline Club is a non-profit organization incorporated with the primary objective to promote the sport of trampoline in our community and to promote a safe and healthy atmosphere for people to participate in the sport at either the recreational or competitive levels that is fun and safe and encourages physical, mental and social fitness.
The Kingston Aeros started as the trampoline program for the Kingston Gymnastics Club in September 1973 with Head Coach, Dave Ross. The club was initially housed in the basement of the Queen's University Athletic Centre. Since then, there have been a few other homes and we are now located at the JSM Recreational Centre in our own facility!
We pride ourselves on providing a fun, safe and welcoming atmosphere for all of our participants. Our equipment is of the highest standard and regularly inspected and maintained. Staff are trained and certified through programs designed by Gymnastics Canada and the National Coaching Certification Program with the Coaching Association of Canada. We are also a registered and active member of Gymnastics Ontario.
Our athletes, from recreational through provincial and national trampolinists, form a great team. We have programs running for all levels of athlete from beginner recreational through provincial, national, and international .
Trampoline work is also considered an important training opportunity for other disciplines such as cheerleading, figure skating, diving, snowboarding, wakeboarding, etc. We are proud of our past accomplishments and plan to continue to offer fun, safe, and satisfying trampoline programs for the Kingston Community. Come out and see us, give us a try, and get in on the action.
